A friend on a message board gave me a link to an online video and it did the trick! (Thanks, Jenn!) So now I can do all the basic things you need to be able to do to knit! Your stitches are so even. I'm jealous! I have lumps and bumps and holes and dropped stitches and weird stitches that mysteriously appear.

ReplyDeleteI've been practicing garter stitch for several weeks. That's the only reason I can think of for the stitches to be so even, lol. Lots of practice! I'm just glad to have finally learned the purl stitch. For awhile, I thought it was going to do me in! I'm sure your stitches will be even and pretty in no time at all!
