Today was my first day back to work after being away at a conference for a week. It was nice - everyone said they missed me and asked if I had a good trip. I shared some of what I learned at the conference and even put some of the techniques into practice when I started making a new plan for fund development. It's perfect timing, as our fiscal year is ending this month, so we have an all new year to implement some of these new techniques, especially the ones that involve making a fundraising plan.
Needless to say, it'll be an interesting FY 09. I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen.
